Every year, Arts Presenters members have the opportunity to recognize the managers, artists, agents, presenters, organizations and individuals who have made and continue to make significant contributions to the performing arts. All award recipients are honored at the Awards Luncheon Ceremony at the Arts Presenters Annual Members Conference. 2008 Conference Member Awards Nomination Form Award of Merit for achievement in the performing arts Fan Taylor Distinguished Service Award for exemplary service to the field of professional presenting William Dawson Award for Programmatic Excellence for sustained achievement in programming Sidney R. Yates Advocacy Award for outstanding advocacy on behalf of the performing arts Arts Presenters/MetLife Foundation Award for Excellence and Innovation in Arts Access honors those performing arts venues whose responsiveness to audiences of older adults and those with disabilities are an essential and significant part of their civic engagement NEW! Arts Presenters/MetLife Foundation Award for Arts Access in Underserved Communities honors an organization that is dedicated to innovative strategies resulting in the implementation of practices and programs that have increased access to the arts for people in underserved communities, whether they be rural, inner-city, communities in transition or new communities.
