Pamela M. Green

Ms. Green graduated from Duke University with a BA in Public Policy and a minor in Drama. She began her arts administration training as an intern at the Durham Arts Council and furthered her experience working for the American Dance Festival. She was managing director of the Chuck Davis African-American Dance Ensemble from 1985-1989 and Director of Touring and Presenting for the North Carolina Arts Council from 1989-1992. She started her own company, PMG Arts Management in 1992 to provide booking, management and consulting services to performing artists, companies and organizations throughout the country. She has served as a board member, consultant, panelist, site visitor or workshop leader for the National Endowment for the Arts, the Southern Arts Federation, the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation, the Association of Performing Arts Presenters, the New England Foundation for the Arts, the Michigan Council for the Arts, the International Association of Blacks in Dance, the North American Association of Performing Arts Managers and Agents, and the Executive Committee of the North Carolina Presenters Consortium. She co-chaired the 2005 and 2006 Association of Performing Arts Presenters Conference Committees. She currently sits on the Advisory Committee for the National Dance Project and the Board of Directors of Arts Presenters. She resides in Durham, North Carolina with her husband Isaac, an investment manager and their 2 children Zack age 13 (an aspiring car designer and professional skateboarder) and Anica age 10 (an aspiring veterinarian). She is thrilled to serve the field and thanks her colleagues for their support.
