Online Conference Registration Opens July 23 at Noon EDT with Activation of Conference URL: apapconference.org and the APAP Conference Hotline: 888.717.APAP

Based on extensive member input, in-depth surveys, and six face-to-face feedback sessions conducted throughout the United States, Arts Presenters Board and Staff are working harder than ever to give you the best APAP Conference experience ever.

On July 23, 12 noon EDT, Arts Presenters will launch the highly anticipated and upgraded conference website, apapconference.org. This expanded conference site will serve as your communications hub for updates and features. On the same day, the expanded customer service capacity you have requested will also go live with the activation of our new toll free phone number: 888.717.APAP. Until July 23, please visit this page for preliminary information about the conference prior to the registration launch.

What's New about Exhibiting at the APAP Conference NYC
First and foremost, the APAP Conference NYC will remain at the Hilton New York through 2014. There is no better city for our purposes and no better facility for our needs. We have expanded the Exhibit Hall capacity by almost 10%, bringing the number of potential exhibit spaces to nearly 400.

APAP Conference exhibit booths are highly prized and historically sell out quickly - within a few weeks of registration being open to newcomers. Returning exhibitors who have purchased a booth for ten or more consecutive years are given renewal priority on selecting their booth locations based on the number of years they have continuously participated in this conference. Beginning July 14, each returning Exhibitor group is notified separately via email for blocked registration times. New exhibitors may purchase booths online beginning August 25, subject to availability.

We have also responded to Member feedback regarding exhibit hours.
As you may know, Exhibitors strongly urged the elimination of the traditional Tuesday morning short session, and suggested we make up the hours elsewhere. This has been accomplished, leading to an overall increase of nearly 10% in exhibition hours. As before, conference programs will not compete with exhibit hours.

The hours for 2009 are:
Saturday, January 10, 2:00 pm - 6:30 pm;
Sunday, January 11, 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm;
Monday, January 12, 9:00 am - 11:30 am and 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm.

Finally, we have retired the name Resource Room in favor of APAP EXPO -- a new name that we believe better captures the energy and experience of the world's leading marketplace and forum for the performing arts.
