Chicago Shakespeare Theater and The Theatre School at DePaul University are excited to announce a great opportunity for fledgling leaders in our field.

Two years of full-time employment at Chicago Shakespeare and specially selected graduate coursework from the DePaul Schools of Law, Commerce and New Learning come together in this one program to jump-start the careers of two future leaders. Through this national candidate search, two emerging talents will be given the opportunity to distinguish their records by demonstrating sustained management successes at Chicago Shakespeare while earning a terrific academic credit—both critical assets for advancing one's long-term career objectives.

In addition to their coursework at DePaul, Fellows are introduced to all phases of work at Chicago Shakespeare Theater and assume management positions for specific projects. They undertake staff management, line production, and strategic development duties in various departments, and in doing so interact with several of the Theater's constituencies, from patrons to artists to donors. Fellows administer the routine tasks that keep a theater running smoothly, and they helm company-wide programs that require the highest standard of execution and accountability.

Please email artsleadership@chicagoshakes.com to request a packet of information. Applications are currently being accepted. Only two fellowships will be awarded.
